The Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association has been around for a long time. For the past 40 years the TCDLA has been providing invaluable services to member attorneys. The association is now a state-of-the-art organization providing assistance, support, and continuing legal education to members. Criminal defense lawyers from all over Texas take advantage of TCDLA’s goods and services. Everything from seminars on the latest DWI defense strategies to “Strikeforce” support when a member 
attorney is attacked for doing their job. The TCDLA protects the rights of individuals protected by the Texas and Federal Constitutions in criminal cases. They resist the constant efforts to curtail these rights. But most importantly, the association encourages cooperation between criminal defense lawyers through educational programs and other assistance. A good College Station lawyer will stay plugged into organizations like TCDLA to keep current on defense strategies and methods.
